We never forget our formative years. As we progress through our lives the value of lessons learned, and connections made reveal themselves more and more. Teachers and peers who shaped us and were shaped by us form important building blocks for who we are. In joining us, you’ll be reconnecting with other former Stockwell Park High School, and Platanos College students. Through special gatherings and online events communicated to you through Platanos Alumni Connections, we invite you to share in your memories and experiences of a community of which you will always be a valued part.

Many of you have gone on to become outstanding leaders in various fields of expertise. You are entrepreneurs, creatives, managers, and specialists. Some of you have changed career paths. Others are still working towards their dream. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with others. Whatever it is, networking with your community of alumni gives you access to a wealth of experience from all over the world.

You are the living proof that ‘Attitude Determines Altitude’, and in a unique position to influence the next generation of Platanos College students. As a relatable role model, you can help our students overcome the UK’s deep social mobility problem. Through participation in careers assemblies, mentoring, volunteering, or donating, you have the ability to pass on aspiration and lower the ladders to success.
